Stickball is a Southeastern American Indian game dubbed "Little Brother of War." The game was traditional used to settle disputes amongst clans and neighboring tribes instead of actually going to war and taking lives. Now days the games is still being played amongst the Southeastern tribes for family fun and in formal competition. We are honored to have our Elder Mark Harrison, whom is a citizen the Cherokee Nation, come and share the history and teachings of this fun and exciting game with us. If you look up this game you might see that it can get quite rough. We assure you that although some accidents may happen we are playing a fun family style and are keeping in mind the safety of every involved. Looking forward to seeing you!
