• MOORE'S RESCUE RANCH ADOPTION APPLICATION

  • Please complete this application if you would like to meet one of our furkids! This application is not binding, and it doesn't necessarily mean you will adopt the pet. Completing this application indicates that you are interested in meeting the pet to decide if you would like to adopt.

    Meeting one of our pets does not guarantee adoption. We often receive multiple applications for the same pet, and must make a determination on which home is best. This means that sometimes we have to turn down great people - please don't take it personally!

    We do not adopt outside of Illinois. If we cannot locate a home visit volunteer in your area, then we are unable to approve your adoption request. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

    All applicants are subject to a background check. Once again, please do not take it personally. Background checks are an extra level of protection for our pets (who cannot speak for themselves) from being placed in an unsafe environment.

    We do not adopt pets to families whose current pets are not up to date on shots or unaltered. Exceptions will be made for medical reasons, as stated by a veterinarian. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation!

  • Adoption applications are kept on file for one year following approval. If you are a tenant, you must provide a copy of the lease agreement showing that you have permission to keep a pet on the property before completing an adoption. You will need to give your veterinarian consent for us to conduct a pet reference check on you.

    Moore's Rescue Ranch is focused on rescueing animals with disabilities, as such you may be adopting a pet with a disability as explanied by the Moore's Rescue Ranch representitive. By signing below you ackowledge and understand that this pet may have extra needs for proper care.
