  • Are you a current #SAGrad searching for your first full-time position? Then this session is for you! Together we will highlight and explore real job search testimonies from hundreds of recent graduates and provide you with tips, tricks, and guidance to navigate your search process.

    Learning Outcomes:

    • Identify common roadblocks that current/recent graduate students face during their first Higher Education job search
    • Analyze the data from a national survey to develop a realistic timeline and expectations for their job search
    • Discuss with fellow graduate students ways to maintain and embrace mental health techniques and create protective factors

    Connor Terry, Oklahoma State University-Stillwater Spears School of Business, Academic Advisor

    Connor Terry has served as an Academic Advisor for the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University for the last three years, but has worked across numerous areas of higher education from Financial Aid, Student Engagement, Residential Life, and more. As a fellow professional job searching during the COVID-19 landscape, he has firsthand knowledge on the issues facing job seekers in today’s Higher Education landscape. Outside of working with college students he has a passion for all things Eurovision, Marvel, politics, and music and can often be found working on his Amerivision podcast.
