    It’s Miss Elspeth and I’m here to round off our little course on getting you some proper girly curves whilst you wait for all your hard work exercising to pay off, fake it until you make it girls!

    By now, you should a lovely pair of breasts and a luscious set of buns, to complete your femme body today we’re going to focus on your hips.

  • The Hourglass

    Hopefully most of you will have heard of the hourglass figure. It’s generally held that there are 4 basic female body shapes and the hourglass is widely considered to be the most feminine.

    An hourglass is shown to the left and the hourglass figure is defined as wide-narrow-wide. The upper part (the bust) is wide, the middle part (the waist) is narrow and the lower part (the hips and butt) is wide.

    Women with the hourglass figure are widely considered more attractive than those without and are much more admired. Studies of Chinese, Indian and British texts dating back as early the first century AD shows a clear preference for slimmer waists, so it cuts across cultures and appears to be timeless.

    Think of Venus riding the clamshell, or the Victorian fetish for corsetry. In popular culture, look at Marilyn Monroe or Jean Mansfield even up to the present day with Kim Kardashian or Scarlett Johansson.

    As to why men seem to be hardwired to respond to the hourglass figure, it appears that it’s subconsciously treated as a sign of reproductive fitness.

  • Timing

    I could have done this whole course in one letter and given you your body in one go. However, from my dealings with students, I know that in almost every case breasts are central in the mind of nearly all of you, to the extent that they will ignore almost everything else in the class.

    I like to lead with the breasts first, because if I didn’t everyone would be so eager to get to them they would be distracted. The butt comes, next because students love to have a big curvy booty and have already started exercising to work towards it. This leaves the hips for the last class (does any sissy truly dream of wide hips?) and hips work best in the overall context, so we can also end the class with your complete new body.

    The other reason is that there isn’t really a quick fix to pad your hips. You can either buy padded underwear or you can make your own. Trust me though the effort is more than worth it! Having a slamming butt and the breasts you’ve always dreamed of is amazing but without the hips to go with them, it will always strike you as been slightly wrong or off.


    Hip Pads


    Hopefully I've managed to convince you to give it a try. So, go and have a look how to do your own hip pads (type DIY hip pads in youtube) and watch some of the videos. See if it’s something you feel you’re capable of (and believe me, if you’re reading this you are MORE than capable).

    If you want to attempt it, make a list of what you need and get to it. This is probably also a good point to mention that if you’re going to be making yourself some hip pads, why don’t you upgrade your butt as well? The material required is pretty much the same and the technique isn’t dissimilar.

    Obviously, we understand that some students won’t feel comfortable doing this and as such, although making your own hip pads is strongly recommended, it’s not mandatory. Just look into shape wear instead. The effects will be a little more subtle but that’s nothing to be ashamed of.

  • Girlmode

    Once you’ve got all your parts you’ve got a lovely addition to any Girlmode, putting on your maid outfit to clean the house? Now you can really fill it out! A glass of wine and a quiet night in after a busy day at work? A girl’s got to have standards, get dressed up!. Now that you have completed your body, you want to wear it as often as you can so you can get used to it.

    Becca will be writing to you soon with a letter on Yoga, and that’s a perfect opportunity to try out your body when you’re a little more active. You’ll have so much fun finding out how a pair of breasts can affect your balance!


    And that will do it for me! I’ve very much enjoyed teaching you, Frida was right, I do need to get out of the lab more. I’ve spoken with her and I hope I get the chance to take a class or two in future modules.

    In the meantime, enjoy your body and I hope if you see the flyers around campus you’ll give some thought to volunteering as a subject at the feminization labs. We do work at the more extreme end of things but I don’t think any of our volunteers walk away unhappy.
