Ramadan 2024 Itekaf Waiver

March 31st Onwards
By signing this Waiver, I assume any risk, and take full responsibility and waive any claims of personal injury, death or damage to personal property associated with Muslim Association of Lehigh Valley (MALV) during my overnight stay in the Mosque for prayer.

I understand that MALV is not under any obligation to allow me to stay for the entire duration of the Itekaf. I understand that at any point, MALV may decide to stop an individual to continue the Itekaf or completely stop the program all together.

I understand and confirm that by signing this WAIVER I have given up considerable future legal rights. I have signed this Agreement freely, voluntarily, under no duress. My signature is proof of my intention to execute a complete and unconditional WAIVER of all liability to the full extent of the law. I am 18 years of age or older and mentally competent to enter into this waiver.

- Note: Itekaf in the Mosque during the last ten nights of Ramadan is something we wish to encourage. However, MALV is not responsible for the actions of individuals.
  
  Please be mindful of the other community members who are also staying in the Mosque by making sure you clean up after yourself.
  
  This includes the prayer hall, bathroom, kitchen and all other areas of the Mosque. Everyone should take safety precautions and be aware of risks. May Allah SWT accept our good deeds during this blessed month. Ameen
