• Morris Farms Yard of the Quarter

    The Yard of the Quarter program is intended to inspire residents of Morris Farms to take pride in the appearance and upkeep of their yards and the exterior of their homes. Hopefully, this will improve the overall appearance of our community and get everyone excited about living here.  Everyone will reap the benefits of living in a neighborhood that is nicely maintained.

  • Program Guidelines

  • Criteria

    Lawn must be healthy, neatly mowed and edged.


    Grass and weeds around foundation and fences should be trimmed and maintained.


    Yard should be free of clutter and debris.

    Fences, porches, railings, and mailboxes should be in good repair.

    Driveway should be free of oil and other stains. Also, there should be no weeds growing up through the cracks in the driveway.

    Plants and flowers should be healthy (no plastic flowers or plants).

    Yard should have an overall pleasing appeal.

    Extra consideration may be given to properties that invest extra effort such as: power-washing exterior, painting shutters and doors (their original color), painting their mailbox and placing attractive house numbers.

  • Rules


    Each yard will be limited to winning the award only once in any calendar year.


    Only the section(s) of the yard as viewed from the street will be judged.


    Dues must be paid in full, and winner must be in good standing with the HOA.


    The Committee will select one home each quarter.

    A Yard of the Quarter sign will be placed in the yard for the entire quarter.


    Yard must continue to be maintained during the winning quarter.
