In exchange for my child’s participation in the activity of FISH Courses as part of The Harbour School, I agree to the following policies: Behavior: All of our scholars are expected to be respectful members of an intentionally diverse community. Scholars should always strive to be kind and conscientious in their conduct, hone their strengths and willingly work on their areas for improvement. They are expected to demonstrate a growing empathy both at school and in their community and they are expected to do their best and be honest about their efforts.Absence: A scholar's absence from a course will not be entitled to a refund for the missed course nor be provided with a make-up course.

F.I.S.H. Liability Waiver, Release and Assumption of risk
The Harbour School will take all prudent precautions to protect the health, safety, and well-being of the faculty participants. However, some planned activities have some degree of inherent risks of injury.
- I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge and agree that in my child's participation in the FISH Course at The Harbour School:
- I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain inherent risks associated with the water-based and land-based activities during the FISH Course which include, but are not limited to: sailing, using makerspace tools such as soldering iron, hammers, handsaws and other hand tools, or when interacting with marine wildlife and science laboratory and dissection equipment.
- I understand the nature of sailing activities and confirm that my child has no mental or physical disability that would prevent him/her from participating in any such activity. Participation in any outdoor activity and travel in nature, outdoor environments involve inherit risks, dangers and hazards.These risks may include, but are not limited to: natural disasters, forces of nature, weather conditions, slippery footing, boat factors, water, isolation from medical facilities, difficult evacuation and equipment failure.
- I understand that participants in the FISH Course activities occasionally sustain personal injuries and/or property damage as a consequence of such participation. Knowing the risks of these, I agree to accept and expressly assume all risk of death, personal injury and/or property damage sustained by my child while participating in the FISH Course activities.
  AND I HEREBY RELEASE, DISCHARGE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS The Harbour School and its trustees, agents, directors, officers and employees (collectively, the "Released Parties"), from and against all and any liabilities, losses, claims, demands, actions, damages, costs and expenses (including legal costs and expenses) that I may have for injury, disability, death or damage arising out of my child's participation in the FISH Course activities.
- I FURTHER AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD THE RELEASED PARTIES HARMLESS from all claims, judgments, liabilities, loss, actions, damages, penalties, fees, disbursements, proceedings, demands, costs and expenses (including legal costs and expenses) which the Released Parties may suffer or incur, in connection with any injury or damage sustained or action brought as a result of my child's participation in the FISH Course activities, or arising out of the need to protect my child or other participant(s) of the FISH Course from injury.
- I AGREE that Hong Kong law shall apply to any agreement between the Released Parties and me under this document and the courts of Hong Kong shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with this document."

Waivers and Consent
At The Harbour School (THS) we encourage the use of photography by staff members and students to document the learning process for student portfolios or reflective practice. For clarity, the term “photograph” as used herein encompasses still photographs, motion picture footage, and audio. Unless otherwise indicated below, THS assumes permission and authorization to use, edit, reproduce, and publish photographs of the Scholar, both while the Scholar attends FISH and thereafter in perpetuity. This authorization permits the use of photographs in any medium or form of distribution, including, but not limited to, the THS website, THS dock, newsletters, brochures, yearbook, media outlets, promotional materials, or in any other manner as determined by the sole discretion of THS. *
NO PRIVATE VEHICLES OR TAXIS are allowed to bring scholars to and from The Grove Campus. Please refer to The Harbour School Transportation policy for more information: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FrZzveY9O6Af8MDvLL9bgAHSSuXitWAU/view. There is no school bus service for FISH Courses.No exceptions will be made on rainy days. Exceptions to this policy will only be approved for medical reasons, on a case-by-case basis. *
