The following may apply for the ESSD FEES Instructor Certificate upon individual application:

• Holders of similar certificates issued from other societies 

Professions that include the training of FEES and management of swallowing disorders, such as otorhinolaryngologists and phoniatricians

Disclaimer: Note that holders of either the FEES certificate or the FEES instructor certificate do not automatically acquire the right to carry out FEES in their home countries, as this depends on national regulations. What the ESSD accredits are the skills and the knowledge to perform FEES. Whether, and under which conditions, non-medical professionals are allowed to do FEES, is defined by country-specific legal regulations. Therefore, it is suggested that professionals interested in this education should carefully check the regulations of their home countries before registering.

The data controller is Dentons Global Advisors Association Management. The purpose of this processing is to allow issuing of the ESSD Fees Instructor Certificate by the ESSD secretariat.

In order to do so, we are collecting and processing administrative data (e.g. contact details) from members, participants and subscribers. The data will be stored for 3 months and will not be passed on to third parties without explicit consent.

All data subjects have the right of access, the right to rectify the data and the right to recourse consent of data storage concerning him or her by contacting the person designated as being in charge of the processing operation.
