Application Process:
- Interested candidates must submit an application, which is due on May 20th
- NDI will review applications and invite candidates to teach a 15 minute sample lesson on Zoom on either June 2nd or June 3rd.
- Following the virtual sample lessons, invited candidates will participate in a workshop at the NDI Center in Harlem, NY on June 9th, 5:00pm-6:30pm ET.
- Final candidates will be selected to participate in NDI’s professional development trainings this summer, and will receive a stipend of $25/hour for their time. Candidates will have the option to choose one of our summer trainings:
- NDI & The Art of Teaching, July 11 - 14th, 5pm - 7:30pm on Zoom
- Level One Intensive Training, Aug 1-14, Monday-Friday 10am-4pm in person at NDI
- Upon completion of the training, potential job opportunities for the 2022-23 school year will depend on the availability of In-School Program work, to begin in late September or early October.
