York County SPCA Volunteer Mission Statement

The York County SPCA volunteers provide assistance to the organization's staff by completing basic animal husbandry, demonstrationg care and compassion to the adoptable pets, and adhering to the organization's rules and regulartions.

Volunteers must:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Have a commitment to the YCSPCA's mission to serve the animals and residents of York County.
- Comply with the rules and mission of the YCSPCA.
- Demonstrate an ability to handle sensitive issues, situations, and information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Purchase a volunteer T-shirt ($7) and a volunteer nametag ($8) that will be worn whenever volunteering.
