Volunteers are an important part of The Big E Creative Arts. If you have a skill to share or a passion for helping and being involved, we may have the perfect role for you. Creative Arts Ambassador (4 hour shifts September 15 - October 1)Creative Arts Tour Guide (4 hour shifts September 15 - October 1)Creative Arts Demonstrator (September 15 - October 1)Pre & Post Fair Organizers (August - October 3, various dates and times)Creative Arts Set Up Assistant (August 31, September 1 & 7-14)Judge's Scribes & Presenters (September 1 & 6-9)Receiving & Post Fair Pick Up Assistants (August 31, September 5, 11 & 12 and October 2 & 3)
Are you able to walk for 3 ½ hours during your shift as an Ambassador? If no, we will provide seating for some of the time. If you are unable to walk, please contact our office so we can find ways for you to assist.*

Signing up for shifts will be done by each volunteer online through SLING Scheduling. An invitation will be sent to the email you provide. If you anticipate being unable to access SLING, please list your availability for the positions you are interested in below:
Parking and Entrance Passes must be picked up or requested to be mailed at least one week prior to your shifts for entry during The Big E - September 15 - October 1. Anyone volunteering 5 (five) or more days during the Fair will be provided a photo ID badge and must make arrangements to pick up in the office and have their photo taken (after Labor Day).*
