Marco will arrange for a licensed guide to meet you at Pompeii on your arrival. The tour will last approximately 2 hours and the cost is 150 euros. The fee can be paid directly to the guide in cash on the day of the tour.

We can start from anywhere in Naples (Naples train station, airport, cruise port) or any of the towns on the Amalfi Coast.

We’ll spend the day exploring the many charming towns and cities that line the Sorrento and Amalfi coastlines, with ample opportunity to stop and explore and take great photos.

The tour is fully customizable and we can talk in advance to choose which towns you’d like to spend more time in and, if there are towns you’ve already seen, which you’d like to skip.

Depending on what you like to eat, I’ll give suggestions for terrific local restaurants where we can stop for a leisurely lunch break.

For anyone arriving to Naples and then moving on to their accommodation on the coast, we can do the tour as a hybrid tour and transfer. I’ll pick you up in Naples, we can spend the day exploring together, and then I’ll drop you off at the door of your accommodation anywhere along the coast.

Some towns we can see: Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Praiano, Conca dei Marini, Vico Equense, Atrani, Minori, Maiori, and more.

Tour Description:

Taste your way through the Amalfi Coast! The day begins early, passing through places both famous and less-known like Positano, Praiano, Conca dei Marini, Furore, Amalfi, Atrani, and Minori all bathed in glorious morning sunlight. We’ll stop throughout for great views and treats at local favorites. In Minori, we’ll be sure to taste some pastries at one of the absolute best Italian bakeries - Sal de Riso.

From here, we have two options - continue along the coast to Maiori where we can have a stunning seafood lunch at Torre Normana, an open-air restaurant set inside an ancient Norman watchtower that juts out into the sea. Or for travelers interested in wine, we can turn back at Minori, visit the sights in Ravello, and then climb up into the verdant green hills for a wine tasting and rustic lunch of farm-to-table fare at a local vineyard.

For those short on time, or just trying to maximize their days, this tour begins with a visit to one of Italy’s most storied sights: the ruins of Pompeii.

At Pompeii, you can hire a guide on-site, arrange for one to meet you in advance, or I’d be happy to arrange one for you as well. You’ll tour the archeological site for about 2 hours. From there, we continue or journey exploring the towns and cities of this dreamlike land.

We’ll finish the tour with plenty of time for you to enjoy a relaxed evening at your hotel or get you back to your cruise ship with ample time to board.

If you’re arriving in to Naples and are planning to move on to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, you’ve probably already realized that exploring this area without a car is going to be difficult!

With that in mind, this is a bit of a hybrid tour and transfer, which combines food and sightseeing with transportation to your final destination.

I’ll pick you up in Naples, from where we’ll head to an authentic local pizza restaurant for a fantastic Neapolitan style pizza.

After lunch, it’s on to Pompeii. Here, you’ll have the option of a self-guided tour, hiring a guide on-site, or I’d be happy to arrange one for you in advance. Expect to tour the impressive ruins for around two hours.

After this, we’ll continue on along the lovely Sorrento Coast, making our way to our final destination of Sorrento (or a nearby town). I’ll drop you off at your accommodation, and you’ll take it from there!

Please note: this tour can be done in reverse, finishing in Naples, on your departure day. Alternatively, it can also be done as a regular day tour with round trip pick up and drop off at your accommodation anywhere along the coast.

Tour Description:

This tour can be done as a full-day, half-day, or “transfer with stops”. You’ll start in Naples (or can begin on the coast and finish in Naples) and first stop to visit Pompeii.

After touring the archeological site, we’ll start climbing Vesuvius’ verdant slopes on your way to Bosco de Medici winery. Here, you’ll get to tour the gorgeous grounds before a fabulous wine tasting and lunch of fresh local fare.

After lunch, depending on how long you want the tour to be, we can decide on any number of fabulous stops along the way to drop you off at your accommodation.

Tour Description:

A full-day tour taking in Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius. Feel as if you’ve gone back in time while wandering the stunning ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, before visiting Mt. Vesuvius, one of Europe’s most active (and most dangerous!) volcanoes.

You should assume on 2 hours for Pompeii, 1.5 hours at Herculaneum, and about 1.5 hours exploring Vesuvius.

The perfect tour for anyone wanting to get up close and personal with the ancient history, both natural and human, of this rugged area.

Tour Description:

For something a little different, enjoy a day of touring the Amalfi Coast combined with a gastronomic experience at Fattoria Terranova, a lovely renovated farm where you can taste limoncello & olive oil, do wine tastings, and participate in hands-on cooking classes.

The best way to experience this is to start the day visiting the coast, stopping at towns, villages, and viewpoints as we make our way toward Trattoria Terranova’s lovely ground. Around lunch time, we’ll stop at the farm for a tour and experience, before sitting down for a fabulous lunch of locally produced farm-to-table fare. In the afternoon, we’ll cover all the towns and coast that we haven’t seen yet.
