Conditions of Entry
• Artists can submit up to 4 entries. All artwork must be completed when submitting an application. Please note, depending on space and format, not all entries submitted will be accepted.
• Artwork may be two or three dimensional and can be in any style or medium, accompanied by a statement that explains or illuminates their intentions. Work submitted should be less than 3 years old.
• Due to space limitations, pieces can be up to 1m x 1m x 1m or equivalent, and weigh less than 25kg.
• Artworks must be delivered in a format and condition that is ready for display. NB: The exhibition installation team may need to install additional D Rings onto the back of your frame to ensure the work hangs well on Council’s picture hanging system. If you are having your work framed or are installing your own D Rings please install them 10cms down from the top of the frame. This may alleviate the need to install extra D Rings.
• Selected artworks must be delivered to the Civic Centre, 25 Ferres Boulevard, South Morang on Monday 13 June 2022 between 10am-2pm and 3pm-6pm (No late entries accepted).
• Artists must collect their work from the Great Hall in the Civic Centre on Monday 25 July between 10am-2pm and 3pm-6pm. Note: artworks cannot be stored at the Civic Centre.
• If you are unable to pick up your artwork on time, please notify the Cultural Collection Co-ordinator.
• Artists are responsible for the insurance of artworks, delivery and collection of all artwork.
