2022 The RibFest Food Vendor

Dear Food Vendor,

Signature Events Erie is currently seeking food vendor applications for the 2022 event.

The Rib Vendors have the rights for selling Ribs, Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken, etc.

We do not give exclusives to vendors, but we also don’t flood the show with the same type of merchandise. Returning your application does NOT guarantee your space. Space will not be held.

VENDORS OFFERING PREPACKAGED FOOD ITEMS ($125)

Such as (but not limited to) vinegar, oils, sauces, jams, drink mixes, herb mixes, seasonings, dried fruits, candy, etc.

Electrical Power - Please indicate your power needs on the application. Power will be provided by Signature Events Erie. Absolutely NO generators are permitted. Please bring any cord covers if needed. At least a 100’ electric cord is suggested

Insurance - You must carry and provide proof of comprehensive general liability insurance with coverage not less than $1,000,000 single limit, active during the term of the event. If accepted, you will need to submit a certificate of insurance indemnifying and holding harmless Gears-N-Grub, Signature Events Erie, Conneaut Lake Park, and their agents, officers, and employees from all claims from damage to property or bodily injury, including but not limited to death, which may arise out of any permission issued herewith. Gears-N-Grub, Signature Events Erie, Conneaut Lake Park, must be named as additional insured. This policy shall not be terminated or canceled prior to August 22, 2022

Permits - The right to operate a concession is contingent upon the approval of the County Health Department. Please indicate if you have an annual or need a temporary Food License issued through the County Health Department. It is your responsibility to contact the Health Department prior to the event and pay any applicable fees for said license.

Upon Acceptance, you will be required to submit a copy of your Certificate of Insurance by August 1, 2022.

Terms & Conditions

Signature Events Erie will hold food vendors to very high standards to represent our event.

The following rules and regulations apply to ALL food vendors:

1. Event hours are Friday & Saturday, August 19 & 20, 2022, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Sunday, August 21, 11:00 am - 6:00 pm Vendors MUST be open and ready to serve during the event hours. Absolutely no early teardown. If violated, you will not be permitted to apply to ANY events produced by Signature Events Erie in the future.

2. Trash must be placed in the dumpster each night. Cardboard boxes must be broken down and placed in the dumpster.

3. Vendors must bring their own trash cans. Trash cans in the event area are not for vendors’ use.

4. Vendors must comply with all County Health Department regulations.

5. You are responsible for keeping your area clean and sanitary at all times. Any trash that needs to be disposed of throughout the day can be placed in the dumpster at any time throughout the day.

6. Acceptance to participate this year does not guarantee acceptance in subsequent years.

7. Vendor spaces cannot be reserved. Placement is not guaranteed from one year to the next and is subject to change.

8. No subletting of space,

9. It is the responsibility of the vendor to follow all COVID regulations by the State of Pennsylvania and the County of Crawford, PA.

10. A menu MUST be displayed with prices clearly marked.

Failure to comply with the terms & conditions outlined above could result in the right to participate in future years.
