Thank you for your interest in joining The F.L.Y. Girl Program!
F.L.Y. Girl is a transformative program designed to empower black girls aged 11-17 by fostering self-love that promotes healing and personal development. As well as focusing on youth mental health and professional growth for educators that can foster supportive engagement spaces for F.L.Y. Girls. The program comprises three core components: S.H.I.N.E. Circles (Healing), Individual Life Coaching (Mental Health), and Professional Development for Educators (Supportive environments and Culturally Responsive Education).
The core components of the program support our overall program goals of:
1. Promoting Healing and Improved Mental Health,
2. Creation of Supportive and Culturally Relevant engagement spaces, and
3. Decreasing behavior incidents within FLY Girl participants.
