Contrary to popular belief, there isn't a lot of money in book sales (unless you're Stephen King or JK Rowling or someone famous). Then why do people share their stories in collaboration books? The connections, the potential for getting speaking gigs, the visibility, the credibility of being a bestselling author, etc.

Because there isn't a lot of money in the book sales, Action Takers Publishing and Anjel B Hartwell have selected a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that will receive 100% of the net sales proceeds from the Wickedly Smart Women book. The Life Is Good Playmakers Foundation works to ensure life is good for all kids. Positive relationships with adult caregivers are the most critical component to successful early childhood trauma treatment. The Playmakers work with traumatized children to teach kids how to play again.
