I deserve to have fun during my Derby experience and will alert parents or officials if it stops being fun.

I will exhibit good sportsmanship and show respect at all times (win or lose) to fellow racers, parents, guardians, officials and fans at every Derby function.

I will encourage good sportsmanship from fellow racers, parents, guardians and officials.

I deserve to play in an environment that is free of drugs, tobacco, and alcohol and expect adults to refrain from their use at all Derby events.

I will remember that Derby is an opportunity to learn and have fun. I will learn and respect the rules of Soap Box Derby racing.

I will not engage in any behavior which would endanger the health, safety, or well-being of a fellow racer, parent, guardian, official or fan.

I will not engage in the use of profanity while attending or participating in a Derby event.

I also agree that if I fail to abide by the above Code of Conduct, I will be subject to disciplinary action that could include but is not limited to the following pending a review by the Conduct Committee of the ISBD:

• Verbal warning by official
• Written warning
• Suspension from future Derby activities
