We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Driver to join our friendly team at our Accommodation Depot in Chesterfield.
Your Role
As one of our Divisional Drivers you’re ultimately responsible for the delivery and collection of our fleet of small plant and tools to construction sites across the Yorkshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Peak District regions. In addition, you are required to inspect and test the tools and ensure that all paperwork is completed in a timely manner. Our clients depend on you to deliver a safe and reliable service.
About You
You will be a safety conscious and hardworking member of the team with great communication skills. Able to work to deadlines and work on your own initiative, you will be proud of the work that you undertake. You need a full UK driving license to drive a 3.5-tonne vehicle.
Main Responsibilities

Delivery and collection of small plant & tools

Loading and unloading vehicles in a safe manner.

Plan driving route based on where deliveries are located and when best suits the Company and customer.

Ensure that the vehicle is clean and maintained to the Banner Standard, reporting any defects found

During collection, check the equipment for damage that may have occurred during the hire.

Ensures that all paperwork is signed, dated and the name is printed from the customer either electronically or manually.

Have the flexibility with regards to start and finish times when driving based on the job requirements.

Maintain good working relationships; be accommodating and work professionally with our customers at all times
