Las Loras deNuca Amarilla están en peligro crítico, lo que significa que sus poblacionesestán disminuyendo y que están en peligro de extinción. The Big Week for the Yellow-Naped Amazon for the General Public
As a member of the general public, thank you for participating in the Big Week! This is your opportunity to participate in citizen science, and be featured on social media! From June 12 to June 18, we invite you to look for Yellow-Naped Amazons and report your observations here. If you submit a selfie of yourself in the field, and/or with the parrots, you could be featured on our Facebook page (@parrotcensus) and our website (htt://parrotcensus.com). Yellow-Naped Amazons are critically endangered, meaning their populations are declining and they are in danger of extinction. We are organizing this event to draw attention to this fantastic bird and learn more about its numbers in Costa Rica. Thank you very much for participating!
