Music Access Project and Project Bridge Application
Bloomingdale’s signature program, the Music Access Project, is a three-year pre-college training program featuring high-quality instruction and personal mentoring. MAP is open to students who: have at least three years of experience on instrument; are In 8th-11th grade at the time of their audition; demonstrate achievement on their primary instrument; are seeking a more intensive music education program to propel them toward college training. Bloomingdale School of Music’s Project Bridge program is a full scholarship program for talented middle and high school students who cannot otherwise afford private lessons. Project Bridge is open to students who: have at least one school year of experience on instrument in their school band or orchestra; in 7th-10th grade at the time of their audition; love music and want to grow in their instrumental skills and musical knowledge; show progress on and dedication to learning their instrument. Applications are due on June 15, 2022. Applying students must submit a video audition.
