  • Leadership Lake Havasu Application - Class of 2024

    Class applications are accepted throughout the year.
  • Leadership Lake Havasu strives to recruit and select a diverse group of individuals who demonstrate a commitment to the Lake Havasu City community. To apply for the program, please complete the written application below. We encourage you to be thorough in your responses, as scoring is based on your discussion of the question in its entirety. Please use this as a way for us to get to know you! 

    In addition to the written application, all candidates will be required to participate in an in-person interview. A specific time will be assigned for this portion of the selection process. Please note, both the written application and participation in the interview are required for program consideration. 

    Final selection of the class will be decided by the Lake Havasu Chamber Foundation for Education & Leadership's (CFEL) Education Committee – a group of Leadership Lake Havasu graduates volunteering their time to ensure the continued growth of the program. 

    Leadership Lake Havasu tuition is $675 for Chamber members and $925 for non-members and covers your learning day experiences throughout the program, coffee and lunch at each learning day, and graduation ceremony fees, including dinner. 

    *Please note, you will be asked to upload a cover letter, endorsement by your employer, and two letters of recommendation with your application. You are encouraged to have these ready in advance of your submission.

  • The following are required as a part of the LLH application process.

    Application Form – this form should be completed online. All other documents may be uploaded online as well.

    Cover Letter – A brief introduction to you, your background, and why Leadership Lake Havasu is the right program to help you achieve your goals to become an active member within Lake Havasu City.

    Organizational Endorsement Form – signed by your employer or sponsor. Not necessary if self-employed. Click here to download form.

    Letter of Recommendation – two with at least one from this list:
    Leader in your organization, Lake Havasu Chamber Foundation for Education and Leadership Board Member, Chamber of Commerce Board Member, LLH Alumni or any
    Civic Leader.

    $300 Non-Refundable Deposit - payable to Lake Havasu Chamber Foundation for Education and Leadership (CFEL).

  • Section 2. Short answer questions.

    We ask that you respond to each of the following questions thoroughly and completely while also being as clear and succinct as possible. We recommend responses be at least 150 words in length for each question. If you believe you can respond to each question thoroughly and completely in fewer than 150 words, your responses will still be considered.

  • Section 3. Financial support.

    Leadership Lake Havasu tuition is $675 for Chamber members and $925 for non-members and covers your learning day experiences throughout the program, coffee and lunch at each learning day, and graduation ceremony fees, including dinner.

  • The Lake Havasu Chamber Foundation for Education & Leadership Board offers partial scholarship assistance.

  • Section 4. Program Committment.

    Class members are expected to attend all scheduled activities. Participants are eligible for graduation upon earning a predetermined number of program points through participation in a combination of learning days, individual community tours, curriculum responses, and the mandatory class project. Additionally, program graduates are asked to help facilitate one learning day during the following fiscal year.
