5/2 - Pray for an opportunity to share with someone the difference that the gospel is making in your life. Try to bring up at least one aspect of the “better story” of the gospel in a conversation with someone.
5/9 - Pray for an opportunity to “identify with someone without compromising your identity as one of God’s people.” SS suggested the following: Pray, find common ground, ask good questions, gently challenge worldview with further questions, agree where you can, point to the deeper problem using terminology they’ve already used.” (p. 188-191)
5/16 - Pray for an opportunity to use an interest question, opinion then issue question, or a “God” question in conversation (see SS p. 204-208). Did the following help discern if someone was spiritually open or closed – investigate, stimulate, relate? (SS p.199-200)
5/23 - Final Paper - This is a reflection paper. Describe one of the practical evangelism tools that have been most helpful from the class so far. How have you been able to use it in a conversation? What are 2 personal take-aways from this class? How have you seen them to be helpful already? How will you seek to pursue evangelism differently? Give 2-3 tangible next steps. How will you contribute to evangelistic culture at Gospel Grace? (450-600 words)

Post your assignment below.
{whichAssignment} We encourage you to write in a separate text editor and then copy and paste into the box below. If you'd prefer to keep your conversation partner private, you do not need to share their name. And, when posting about personal conversations, you may change names or simply refer to them as "my friend." NOTE: Conversation journals are expected to be 200-350 words. The final paper is 450-600 words. The box will only accept submissions within 150-450 words until the last week of the course. It will then accept up to 675 words.
