    This application is for professional or emerging artists wishing to participate in the Great River Folk Festival Art Fair & Sale, August 27th, 2022. Great River Folk Festival is a one day event held at the beautiful Band Shell at Riverside Park in the heart of Downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin. The art fair and sale runs from 11am-5pm inside the fest grounds.

  • KNOW THE RULES
    • A nonrefundable $50 booth fee is required upon acceptance to the fair. No application fee required. Checks and Paypal are accepted. Please make checks payable to Great River Folk Festival - PO Box 1434, La Crosse, WI 54602
    • All artists are given a 12x12ft booth space. If artist require additional space, they will need to purchase an additional $50 booth space.
    • All items for sale at GRFF Art Fair & Sale must be the handiwork of the exhibiting artist(s).
    • No food or commercial items permitted.
    • Electricity can be arranged for those who need it. Sorry, no Wifi will be available in the park.
    • No portable generators are permitted in the park.
    • Artists supply their own display materials, including chairs and tables.
    • Booth spaces will be marked and ready for set-up at 8am. on the day of the festival. Artist can start setting up after 8am only. No overnight setup will be permitted in the park.
    • Artists must provide Wisconsin Tax ID Number

    KNOW THE DATES & DEADLINES:
    May 16, 2022 - Application opens
    June 27, 2022 - Application window CLOSED
    June 27 - July 10, 2022 - Jury process followed by notification
    August 1 - Artist Acceptance & Payment Deadline
    Saturday, August 27, 2022 — Artist check-in begins at 8am. 11am-5pm Great River Folk Fest Art Fair & Sale.

    JURYING PROCESS
    The crafts committee will jury applicants in Mid-June. A maximum of five (5) artists in each media will be selected. Photos should represent current work similar to what you intend to sell. Applicants will be notified of acceptance and non-acceptance via email.
