GerHub is announcing its Gap Year Internship Program that will change your grip on the fast-changing environment for both your career and personal life. This will not be your ordinary internship opportunity! What makes this internship program unique is that you will get to choose from TWO DIFFERENT ROLES.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
- Growth mindset or belief in growing by dedicating your time, effort, and energy;
- Fast learner;
- Punctuality and responsibility;
- Genuine interest in becoming part of a team and contributing to various projects and organizational culture;
- Written, oral, and communication/presentation skills in English and Mongolian;
- Taking a gap year or deferring an international or local college/university admission offer for a year.
DETAILS
Location: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Employment: Full-time, 5 days a week

Work Situation: In-person at GerHub Office (remotely if there are COVID-19 restrictions)

Duration: June 2022 - June 2023

Compensation: Stipend

- ROLE 1. Communications Intern
  Requirements
  - Interest in creative writing and telling stories
  - Strong writing skills in Mongolian and/or English
  - Ability to do research using multiple sources
  Primary Responsibilities
  - Write stories and content for social media and websites by developing content and marketing materials;
  - Develop website features and resources;
  - Create a blog and write stories in creative and fun ways;
  - Contribute to and manage project social media;
  - Activate and engage alumni community group;
  Additional Responsibilities
  - Develop workshop content for Gerude;
  - Facilitate Gerude events;
  - Support different project teams, including education programs for high schoolers, summer workshops, online classes, and others;
  - Support GerHub’s different projects;
  - Research materials, suppliers, stakeholders, and others relevant in each project area;
  - Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  ROLE 2. Design Intern
  Requirements
  - Interest in graphic design, art, and/or social media
  - Creativity and analytical skills
  - Basic knowledge of graphic design fundamentals (layouts, colors, etc.)
  - Beginner experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or other design applications
  Primary Responsibilities
  - Create designs for website and social media;
  - Design social media story templates, stickers/gifs, effects, and highlight covers;
  - Assist with website features and updates;
  - Assist with video production (filming, editing, etc.)
  Additional Responsibilities
  - Develop workshop content for Gerude;
  - Facilitate Gerude events;
  - Support different project teams, including education programs for high schoolers, summer workshops, online classes, and others;
  - Support GerHub’s different projects;
  - Research materials, suppliers, stakeholders, and others relevant in each project area;
  - Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
