Film Emporium is pleased to offer Talamas' Equipment Insurance Protection Plan thru Houston Casualty Insurance Company for rented equipment valued up to $100,000. These policies cover both damage and theft up to 30 day rental periods with a per claim deductible as detailed below:

 

Equipment up to $24,999 - subject to a 5% of loss / minimum $250 deductible per claim

Equipment up to $50,000 - subject to a 5% of loss /minimum $500 deductible per claim

Equipment up to $100,000 - subject to a 5% of loss /minimum $1,500 deductible per claim

This insurance coverage is not refundable and immediately earned at inception.

Program Guidelines:

*Any individual piece of equipment valued over $50,00 must be referred to underwriting for approvals

* The limits provided in the rate chart are the most any individual renter can obtain insurance for without referral and underwriting

approvals 

* Renters cannot stack limits to obtain limits higher than provided by the program rates.

 

We do not cover the property described below:

l. Any equipment being used on or near a body of water including but not limited to underwater photography.

2. Any equipment attached to an aircraft or other flying device being used in but not limited to aerial photography.

3. Any equipment attached to an auto being used in but not limited to a car chase,  auto stunt or high speed driving over 35 miles per hour.
