Responsibilities:
- Identify and contact prospective clients through self-generated referrals
- Prospect and build relationships with potential referral sources from the real estate, mortgage, financial industry, and others through networking
- Develop insurance proposals, present, and sell insurance policies based upon the client’s needs
- Proactively generate cross-sell leads
- Meet or exceed monthly sales production goals
- Maintain retention through relationships and providing trustworthy service
- Comply with applicable state insurance standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Currently hold Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
- Professional and friendly communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to take initiative and be goal oriented
Insurance Sales Agent compensation is comprised of new business commissions, renewal commissions, and bonuses. The pay range for an individual Insurance Sales Agent is $40,000-$300,000 based upon production and experience. *This is a self-employed, contractor position. *
