The Skills Certificate provides the foundations you need to move on to undertake a counselling qualification such as The Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. This provides you with the basic knowledge, skills and awareness that you need to be prepared for the next step in counselling training or to use these transferable skills in the work place and personal life.
This course is 7 months (90 hours) long and requires face-to-face attendance at a venue in Southend-on-Sea. Upon completing the course and its requirements you will receive a certificate confirming the hours worked and the grade achieved.
This is run by experienced counsellors and trainers - mapped alongside the NCS standards, ethics and guidelines. On passing the course, you can then apply for the Diploma Course to become a counselling practitioner.
There is no final exam, you will be assessed through journals, skills assessments and interaction in the learning environment.
