Field testing sites help to assess the effectiveness and relevance of all new Adult & Teen Challenge USA curriculum prior to publication. Approved field testing sites must agree to the following criteria/standards and have a center representative sign below:
i. Ensure that all materials (curriculum) shared, are utilized ONLY for field testing and not utilized beyond that scope until they become available for purchase through Adult & Teen Challenge
a. Please Note: This is particularly important as field testing materials are NOT finalized versions of the curriculum. New curriculum will be submitted to a designer and copy editor after field testing edits are made, prior to publication.
ii. A center representative must sign the Curriculum Non-Disclosure Agreement and ensure that all materials & copyrights are protected.
iii. A site facilitator (discipleship staff member) must be designated and will be expected to complete the following steps.
Site facilitators will:
i. Sign the Non-Disclosure & Field Testing Agreement.
ii. Promptly distribute any test curriculum to at least 5-10 students that they deem would benefit from the material.
a. If materials are designed to be utilized at a specific point in the program, students should be chosen who match those specifications.
iii. Follow up with students to ensure the materials are done in the specified time. (Minimum: 1 chapter per day -- 1 workbook /week)
iv. Read the workbook and make notes on any edits or items of consideration to help the curriculum better meet the needs of their student population. (E-mail notes to wendyb@teenchallengeusa.com)
v. Fill out the only new curriculum staff survey (provided through e-mail
vi. Check that students have completed the workbook in its entirety. vii.Have all students who completed the workbook complete an online student survey (provided through e-mail
viii. All surveys & facilitator notes are to be completed no later than one week after the anticipated student completion dates. (Specific dates will be outlined when materials are e-mailed to you.) This helps to ensure that new materials are getting to publication in a timely manner.
