In addition to items previously mentioned, the facility that hosts the DI/DII Cross Country and Half Marathon Championship must also meet the following requirements:
- ADA Compliant
- No tobacco use at NJCAA event
- Public Address and Sound System
- Athletic Training Facilities
- Hospitality room for coaches, officials and VIPs
- Concessions / Merchandise Sales area
- Press Box or Table area
- Cross country courses should electronically measure to a 5k route for women and an 8k route for men.
- The half marathon course should electronically measure to a 13.1 miles and should be a mostly flat, smooth surface.
- Finish lines should have 4-6 chutes (not required if chip timing system is being used).
- Host must have a fully automatic timing system, preferably a computerized transponder (chip) timing system and HyTek Meet Management as well as adequate backup equipment for the official timing of a race.
- Bib and hip numbers required to be purchased through the host.
- Dedicated hardwire internet and access to power for NJCAA Network broadcasting.
- Dedicated covered and secured from elements facility for NJCAA Network broadcasting.
- Designated warm up areas
- Designated practice time Thursday and Friday prior to the start of the championship.
