  • All members of the Australian Guild of Applied Psychological Efficacy abide by the Code of Ethics and are required to read and confirm their acceptance of the Code provided by the Board as part if their application for membership.

    How to Enrol and the Application Process


    1.1 Application for membership shall be made to the Membership Secretary on a form prescribed by AGAPÉ. Copies of supporting documents must accompany all applications.


    1.2 Application forms must be returned with the appropriate fee (if applicable) as either a cheque or money order in favour of the Australian Guild of Applied Psychological Efficacy (AGAPÉ). Should a membership application be unsuccessful, payment will be returned in full.


    1.3 Membership of AGAPÉ will be classified as: Affiliate members, Provisional Members, Clinical Members or Founding Member.


    1.4 The Guild will consider each application on its individual merits and shall determine whether membership will be granted.


    1.5 The Guild can, from time-to-time on behalf of the membership, amend and add to the terms and conditions of Membership in AGAPÉ.


    1.6 Notification of your application will be sent to applicants within 30 days of receipt.


    1.7 Formal appeals from applicants in respect to the non-granting of membership or variations on the level of membership can me made to the Guild of Management of AGAPÉ.


    1.8 Approved membership is active until 30 June of each year. A membership renewal form with prescribed annual membership fees are due annually by 30 June.

    Membership Criteria

    Membership in AGAPÉ is open to all certified and non-certified individuals. AGAPÉ provide membership in the following categories:

     

    Affiliate/General Member

    2.1 Affiliate Member

    Affiliate Membership is available for anyone with an interest in all aspects of Psycotherspy. No formal training experience is required.

    2.1.1 Benefits of Affiliate Membership

    • Attend Workshops at discounted rates

    • Discounts through Partners Program

    • E-Newsletters

    2.1.2 Requirements for Membership - None

    2.1.3 Annual Membership fee: $100.00 per year. 

    Provisional/Practitioner/Specialist Member

    2.2 Provisional/Practitioner Member

    Provisional/Practitioner Membership is available for anyone who has completed the minimum applicable certification training which meets the Minimum Training Requirements as set forth by AGAPÉ.


    2.2.1 Benefits of Provisional Membership

    • Attend AGAPÉ events at discounted rates
    • Discounts through Partners Program
    • Certified Member Certificate
    • E-Newsletters
    • Full Voting Rights
    • Website listing per request
    • Use of AGAPÉ Certified Member logo
    • The use of post-nominals Xxxx

    2.2.2 Annual Membership Fee: $150

    Specialist Certification Fee: $80. The Specialist fee in in conjunction with either the Provisional or Clinical Memberships. 

     

    Clinical Professional Member

    2.3 Clinical Professional Member

    Clinical Membership is available for anyone who has completed a Bachelors Degree in the required profession, an NLP Master Practitioner Certification course, which meets the Minimum NLP Training Requirements, who works clinically and meets the minimum requirements as set in AGAPÉ requirements.


    2.3.1 Benefits of Clinical Membership

    • All benefits of Clinical Members
    • Full Voting Rights
    • Designated Clinical Member listing on the AGAPÉ website.
    • Use of post-nominals:Xxxx
    • Use of AGAPÉ Clinical Member Logo                                                                                       • Registered Clinical Member Certificate
    • Reciprocal benefits of health insurance rebates when available.

    2.3.2 Requirements for Clinical Membership

    • Bachelors degree in the selected field
    • NLP Practitioner Certification and NLP Master Practitioner Certification from an approved training institute whose training meets the Minimum NLP Training Requirements specified by AGAPÉ.          

    •Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance for the totality of you practice.    
    • 2 years Clinical experience (post Bachelors Degree training/NLP Master Practitioner Certification) with at least 2000
    hours direct client contact.

    2.3.3 Annual Membership Fee: $197.

    Founding Member

    Benefits of Founding Membership

    • Certified Member Certificate
    • E-Newsletters
    • Full Voting Rights
    • Website listing per request
    • Use of AGAPÉ Certified Member logo
    • The use of post-nominals ( Jane Doe, .AFounM)

    Requirements for Founding Membership - None

    Approaved application and Payment of $197 aud

     

    Membership Renewal

    2.3.3 Requirements for Membership Renewal

    • 10 hours Clinical Supervision per year, at least 10 hours must be completed with a certified Clinical Supervisor or active NLP Trainer related to NLP, Hypnosis or Coaching
    • 20 hours of Continued Professional Development (CPD) per year.
    • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance for the totality of your practice


    2.3.4 Annual Membership Fees: $150.
