Insurance Requirements and Liability Waiver
Unless waived in writing by the Wheeling Park District, all outside vendors must provide a current Certificate of Insurance demonstrating proof of liability insurance and naming Wheeling Park District as “additionally insured” no less than two weeks prior to the event. Said Certificates of Insurance must be in accordance with Wheeling Park District’s requirements before they can be approved. Vendors without current and approved Certificates of Insurance will not be allowed on the premises. Please note, some vendors may already have approved Certificates of Insurance on file with Wheeling Park District.
The vendor agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Wheeling Park District, their officers, officials, employees, volunteers and agents from and against any and all liabilities, claims, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or resulting from or in any way related to the Client’s event, and/or any act or omission of Client, its attendees or invitees, or any contractors hired or engaged by Client to the fullest extent of the law.
