NAIDOC Cup

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - PLAYER
The NAIDOC Cup is for players turning 14, 15 or 16 by 31st December 2022.

The NADIOC Cup is an initiative of Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) and Football NSW (FNSW) which will see representative Indigenous football teams from each Member Federation compete in matches played at the Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility on Wednesday 6th of July.

NNSWF will assess Expressions of Interest and be in contact with players in due course and conduct trials for selection if deemed necessary. NNSWF and FNSW will both select a mens and womens squad consitsing of 16 players.

6 May - Expression of Interests Open

13 May - Expression of Interest Closes (Coaches)

20 May - Expression of Interest Closes (Players)

20 - 30 May - Trials Held (if necessary)

3 June - Squads Announced

5 July - Training Day Prior to Tournament

6 July - Tournament

To be eligible for the NNSWF NAIDOC Cup team you must:

- Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander

- Be born in 2006/2007/2008

- Be a registered football player within the national PlayFootball registration system to a NNSWF affiliated club

- Provide a Club Letter of Support
