While most volunteers help every evening of Summer Friends, we understand that not everyone's schedule allows for that. Please indicate below which nights you'll be able to help.

How are you interested in serving? Please check all that apply. (If you choose more than one role, we'll place you where we need help most. If you have a preference of one role more than the others, you can let us know in the comments sections below.)
Set Up Crew, 4:00-5:45 p.m.- Help Kim and Sarah carry and set up workshop tables and signs around the park, set up the Registration Center tent, tables, and chairs, lay out blankets for the opening program, etc.
Registration Center, 5:45-7:00 p.m.- Help welcome, sign in, and direct families where to go. (You're welcome to stay until the end of the event each night and help in other ways, but most of the registration part of the night will be done by 6:45-7:00.)
Attendance Leader, 6:15-6:45 p.m.- Receive attendance texts from workshop leaders and compare it to our Sign-In sheets to make sure all children are accounted for. (Attendance leaders often help with registration and/or clean up as well, but it's not mandatory.)
Nurse, 5:45 p.m.-8 p.m.- Help sick or injured children and complete incident reports as needed. A first aid kit and other necessary supplies will be provided.
Clean Up Crew, 7:30-8:30 p.m.- Help break down tables set up around the park and carry them back to the trailer; break down and pack up Registration Center area; gather signs, water coolers, etc. from around the park and load them into the trailer.
1:1 Buddy for Special Needs Student, 5:45-8 p.m.- Partner with a child for the week and assist him/her with participating in each night's activities.
Workshop Assistant (Pop-up Art with Mermaid Art Studio), 5:45-8 p.m.- Help the Workshop Leader run the activities he/she planned for a group of up to 12 children, walk children to the bathroom or nurse as needed, text attendance to the Attendance Leader, etc.

Preschool Assistant
Snack Organizer- Organize pre-packaged snacks into large bags (labeled with workshop names) and deliver them to the workshop areas each night. Organizing could be done at home or church if that's easier.
Floater/Substitute Volunteer, 5:45-8 p.m.- Help in any area that needs it (i.e. Fill in for a volunteer who is running late; help with check-ins if the line is long; circulate the park and check in to see if workshop leaders need anything.)
