“Nailed It” Nail Match: Professionals / Students

Painted Nails (Love Theme) - 30 / 45 mins

This competition is open to professional and student nail technicians who desire to show their ability to transform nails into an expression of love.

Starting with a half set of manicured nails, maximum length of 2", competitors will have 30 min to hand paint a design that expresses "LOVE".

Competitors will be judged on creativity, intricacy of artwork, color, workmanship, and overall love theme design.

Note: Glitter infused paint products can be used for this competition.

Painted Nails (Sports Theme) - 45 / 60 mins

This competition is open to professional and student nail technicians who desire to show their skill through intricate artwork spotlighting their favorite sport.

Starting with a half set of manicured nails, maximum length of 2", competitors will have 45 min to hand paint a design that will rep their favorite sport.

Competitors will be judged on creativity, intricacy of artwork, color, workmanship, and overall sports theme design.

Note: Glitter infused paint products can be used for this competition.

3D Nail Art - 60 / 90 mins

This competition is open to professional and student nail technicians who desire to show their skill in bringing about depth to a nail.

Starting with a full set of manicured nails, maximum length of 2", competitors will have 60 min to create a 3D design of their choice. Competitors will be judged on originality, complexity, color, workmanship, overall impression, tip length and the design theme.

All nail art must be made from professional nail products and embellishments (beads, rhinestones, metal pieces, etc maybe used but not for more than 25% of the design).
