  • Open Registration Application

    The RSA accepts registrations from other purebred Romney Associations. Please email copies of the registrations (front & back) of the sheep you wish to have considered for open registration into the RSA to romneysheepalliance@gmail.com or upload files through the form on the next page.
  • The Open Registration Application is for purebred Romney sheep over 24 months old that are registered in any other purebred Romney Sheep Registry.

    A copy of the Certificate of Registry (front & back) must be uploaded or emailed to the RSA.  Color designations can be added to the RSA registration papers if the owner so wishes and provides that information:

    Color Explanations

    W = White

    NCS = Natural Color Solid - solid colored lambs with no variegation or white

    NCP = Natural Color Pattern - these lambs are born black with varying amounts of white or silvery markings on their face, legs, and saddle. If there is any white at all, even just a bit on the face or ears, use this designation.

    MS = Moorit Solid - solid colored lambs with no variegation or white

    MP = Moorit Pattern - these lambs are born brown with varying amounts of white or silvery markings on their face, legs, and saddle. If there is any white at all, even just a bit on the face or ears, use this designation. Moorits have brown wool, hair skin, lips, skin around eyes, and tongue. The brown tips that occur on a black sheep are not moorit.
