SPEAK is a group of youth that come together each Monday from the 2022-2023 school year to discuss consent, boundaries, relationships, body positivity, LGTBQ+ issues and more! Members will join SafePlace's Youth Education Specialist in giving presentations at local schools to engage in some cool, peer-led education! SPEAK is a great way to earn volunteer hours, meet like-minded individuals, gain professional references, and is a high light on any resume or application! Applications are due July 2nd, 2022. After that date you'll be contacted regarding your application. If there is a large applicant pool you'll may be called for an interview! We want everyone to be able to participate and we have a limit of how many people can be in the group. Member attendance is required the weekend of August 26th-27th for a two day extravaganza of bonding and learning. SPEAK will officially begin and run alongside the 2022-2023 school year.
