New Volunteer Application Form
Undaunted Women is a nonprofit organization that helps individuals overcome social and economic barriers to self-reliance through connections, advocacy, and inspiration.

Our current efforts are primarily focused on helping newly arriving refugees in the Seattle, WA area. We meet with newly arriving families and work with them to overcome barriers to self-reliance. First, we resolve urgent barriers by providing requested food and furniture items. We then connect families to existing resources by enrolling them in language learning classes, connecting them to academic support resources for their children, and setting them up with employment support services. As our volunteer base allows, we provide programs where existing resources are unavailable.

We encourage the participation of volunteers who support our mission and are willing to contribute. The information provided through this form will be kept confidential.

In signing this release, I acknowledge that I am volunteering for Undaunted Women. I agree to absolve and hold harmless Undaunted Women from and against any blame and liability for any injury, misadventure, harm, loss, inconvenience, or damage hereby suffered or sustained resulting from participation as a volunteer for Undaunted Women. I give permission to use any photographs, video recordings, or audio recordings of myself, obtained during volunteer activities, in Undaunted Women’s informational material and for Undaunted Women’s publicity, training, and promotional purposes and without compensation from Undaunted Women.

I understand that information provided by clients and the consent of discussions or other communications regarding clients and client information by Undaunted Women personnel are confidential and privileged. I understand that said information may not be divulged to any person outside of Undaunted Women without a court order or a release of information from the client. I promise not to divulge or otherwise make public such information whether obtained from clients or from Undaunted Women personnel. I will, upon the request or termination of my relationship with Undaunted Women, deliver any notes, documents, and materials received from Undaunted Women or originating from my activities for Undaunted Women.
