• Home Groups

  • International Students Inc. (ISI) is a national Christian service organization made up of trained, culturally-sensitive, American friends, eager for cultural exchange.  International students of all religions & beliefs are welcome to participate.

Home Groups meet in an American home weekly for ethnic and American food, meeting new friends, Englsh conversation, fun games, and discussion time (participants can choose a cultural discussion or a Bible discussion).  Home Groups typically meet on Friday evenings.

Home Groups offer International students the opportunity to experience American culture, develop friendships, practice English, and interact with Americans and students from around the world in a friendly and welcoming environment.  We're a culturally diverse group with students from different religions backgrounds, countries and degree levels.  We would love to have you join us as we learn and grow together.

Home Group Format:  We generally eat a meal together, then have some activity.  Then we break into discussion groups. One group consists of those that are interested in  discussion on relevant cultural topics. The other group consists of those that are intersted in exploring the Bible in a discussion format.  Afterwards we have dessert and play games or hang out and talk.  Transportation is provided.  Sign up for a group below and the leader will contact you about the details and transportation.
