Join L'Chaim BBG #2444 for our very own chapter convention! L'Chaim Convention takes place from Friday June 10 to Sunday June 12. Participate in a weekend filled with Chapter Bonding, meaningful Services, Song Circles, Separates, Colour Wars and other insane activities! We can’t wait to see you there.
L'Chaim Convention will take place at an AirBnb in Vaughan (near Highway 427 and Major Mackenzie Drive - the exact address will be shared with registered participants only). Participants should arrive at the AirBnb between 5:30-6:00pm on Friday and depart on Sunday at 10:30am.
The cost is $65 and includes accomodations and facilities, meals, programming, supplies, and more! Space is limited and we expect to sell out, so be sure to register soon to save your spot!
Please note that BBYO policy prohibits teens from driving themselves to multi-night overnights, therefore teens may not drive themselves to this convention.
Health & Safety Protocols: Based on current public health guidance, we have identified the following health and safety protocols for L'Chaim Convention:
-
Everyone attending L'Chaim Convention must have received the full series of an approved COVID-19 vaccine or a combination of accepted vaccines at least 14 days prior to the convention.
-
We strongly encourage that all participants receive a flu (influenza) vaccine before attending L'Chaim Convention.
-
If a participant shows symptoms of COVID-19 or feels sick while at L'Chaim Convention, the participant will be quarantined while their family is notified. Families will be responsible for making arrangements for their teen to be transferred to the care of a parent/guardian or a designated emergency contact within 3 hours of being notified.
-
Lastly, we strongly recommend that participants take care in interacting with unvaccinated, immunocompromised, and/or at-risk individuals for several days upon returning home from L'Chaim Convention.
Participant information, including a suggested packing list and emergency contact information, will be sent by email to registered participants and parents approximately one week prior to the convention.
Partial scholarships are available based on need and vary subject to the availability of funds. To apply for scholarship assistance, please register for the convention and then complete the Scholarship Application.
