    As a condition of my employment with Foundations Preschool, 4R4Sons,LLC its subsidiaries, affiliates, successors or assigns (together the “Company”), and in consideration of my employment with Foundations Preschool and my receipt of the compensation now and hereafter paid to me by Company, I agree to the following:


    At-Will Employment. I understand and acknowledge that my employment with Foundations Preschool is for an unspecified duration and constitutes “at-will” employment. I acknowledge that this employment relationship may be terminated at any time, with or without good cause or for any or no cause, at the option either of Foundations Preschool or myself, with or without notice.

  • Employee Playground Policies 

    • Count your children as they enter the playground
      Always take your clipboard with your sign-in/out sheet with you
    • Circulate the playground meaning constantly walking around the playground paying attention to all the children
      If you are outside with another teacher, you need to circulate in opposite directions
    • Sitting on the playground is strictly prohibited. If you are seen sitting, you will immediately receive a written warning, If seen again, you will be suspended without pay
    • Talking to the other teachers over the gates is strictly prohibited. If you are seen talking to teachers over the gates, you will be written up. The second time will be suspended without pay.
    • The children in your class MUST stay on the playground you are on. We DO NOT allow children to run between playgrounds
    • ALL children MUST wear shoes outside
      Notify your office staff immediately if you notice any hazards or broken toys.
    • Sweep or Pick up any trash or debris while rotating
      Never leave the playground for any reason. Even if there’s another teacher with you. The playground is just like a classroom, you cannot leave the room/playground out of ratio for any reason.

  • Lead Teacher Benefits 

    1. Holiday pay: Will be given after 6 months of becoming a lead teacher. You must work the day before & the day after the holiday a minimum of 4 hours to receive holiday pay. Holiday pay will not be paid of you use a vacation day the day before or the day after the holiday. You must physically be working to be paid for the holiday.

    2.  Vacation pay: Each Lead teacher will receive one week vacation after one year of becoming a lead teacher. This can be taken in days or (5) consecutive days. This must be submitted 2 weeks prior in writing for approval. Approval of vacation time is depending upon center enrollment and may be denied at any time. All Paid vacations are on freeze from June to Aug of every year.

    3. PTO- After 6 months of employment, Lead Teachers will accrue 2 hours of PTO time per pay check. PTO will start over every year on the anniversary date of hire. PTO will not roll over year to year. There are no PTO buy outs. PTO only accrues when you are physically working. PTO will not accrue if you are on a leave of absence or vacation. When requesting to use PTO, the employee must fill out a request form and receive approval from the Director as well as corporate.

    4. Continuing Education hours: Each Employee must obtain a minimum of 25 credit hours in additional education hours that can directly be used in his/her classroom setting. Foundations Preschool offers an education reimbursement program that will help lead teachers obtain their college degree in Early Childhood Education. Ask about this program for more information.

    5. Bonuses: Cash Bonuses may be issued upon exemplary work performance throughout the year. They can vary from $25.00 on up

    6. Pay raises: Lead teacher may receive evaluation once a year. Please ask when it is time for your evaluation.

    7. Full time Employees that are with Foundations Preschool a minimum of 3 years will become eligible for a SEP IRA. This Is a retirement account which the company fully funds

    8. Medical insurance is available-After 60 days of becoming a qualified lead; Lead Teachers can qualify for medical insurance. Foundations Preschool will pay for 50% of the premium the employee only. The cost for dependents are the responsibility of the employee.

  • Parent Teacher Confidentiality Policy

    It is the policy of Foundations Preschool to maintain the confidentiality of both student and parent information in a secure system. Information can only be obtained if proper channels and requests are made based on a student need or business purpose. Teachers and school personnel are encouraged to avoid obtaining,accessing and requesting student and parental information. All information regarding students, parents and emergency medical contacts and histories willbe maintained by the School officials and only released based on formal request and justifications. In cases of medical and other emergency situations, information will be released to either proper authorities or designated contacts.In no instance will student or parental information be disclosed, discussed or communicated among school staff, either informally or through any form of email.

  • Classes required by Child Care Licensing. All classes must be NV registry approved.

    (Due By 90 days Of Hire Per Foundations Preschool policy)

    • CPR and first aid- must be taken in person by one of the following Nevada registry-approved providers.
      • American Heart Association
      • American Red Cross
      • American Safety and Health Institute
      • EMS Safety Services
      • Medic First Aid
    • Signs and symptoms of illness with blood-borne pathogens (2hrs)
    • Child abuse and neglect (2hrs)
    • Sudden Infant Death Syndrome-SIDS (2 hrs)
    • Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma (1hr)
    • Human Growth and Development or Positive Guidance (3hrs)
    • Administration of medication (2hrs)
    • Building & Physical Premises Safety Including Storage Bio-contaminants (2 hrs)
    • Emergency Preparedness (2hrs)
    • Transportation (1hr)
    • Wellness (Childhood obesity) (2hrs ) Annual

  • understand that it is my responsibility to take all the classes above within the required 90-day timeframe. I also understand that I am to give my center director/Administration copies of my certificates and I keep the originals. Foundations Preschool is not required to relinquish any certificates, TB, or copies of cards upon the termination of employment.
