AMLA’s summer workshops Latin Jazz; Yesterday and Today

AMLA’s summer workshops Latin Jazz; Yesterday and Today is an exploration of the genre creatively, symbolically, historically, and physically. Students will be exploring improvisation through their instruments, discover Philadelphia's Latin Jazz Legends, and explore themes of improvisation in music. Students will be working with our teaching artists to learn about Latin Jazz in Philadelphia and perform their music.
