How we will use your information at the College
Southend Adult Community College will use your information to provide the service requested. We may share your personal data between our services and with partner organisations, such as government bodies and partners involved in the Essex Retrain, Retain and Gain project. We will do so when it is of benefit to you, or required by law, or to prevent or detect fraud. To find out more, go to

As a college, we have a duty to:
• keep your information only for as long as is required.
• Keep your records secure and accurate.
• keep sufficient information to provide services and fulfill legal responsibilities.
• identify the impact of your learning to Government departments, so they continue to fund our involvement in adult education projects. We achieve this through on-course and end-of-course evaluation surveys, texts and phone calls.
You can help us by:
• letting us know of address or name changes.
• telling us if any of the information we hold about you is wrong
• allowing us to share as much information about you as we need to provide our service
