  • HAIR EXTENSION CARE & MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT
    Hair extensions require regular maintenance and appropriate home care to maintain their appearance, longevity and the health of your natural hair.

    Please read the following information carefully before signing.

    1. Colouring & Chemical Treatments

    I understand that I should not colour, bleach, tone or chemically treat my hair extensions at home. Any colour treatments should be discussed with my stylist beforehand.

    2. Hair Quality & Longevity

    I understand that hair extensions are made from human hair and that the colour, texture and longevity may vary between sets. Their lifespan will depend on the hair, colour, styling habits and home care.

    3. Trimming & Colour Maintenance

    I understand that my extensions may require trimming, toning or colour adjustments over time. These services may incur additional charges.

    4. Heat Styling

    I agree to use appropriate heat protection when blow-drying or styling my extensions. I understand that excessive heat can cause dryness, split ends and damage.

    5. Hair Products

    I understand that certain products, including toning shampoos and unsuitable treatments, may affect the colour, condition and longevity of my extensions. I agree to follow the product recommendations provided by my stylist.

    6. Blonde & Lightened Extensions

    I understand that blonde and heavily lightened hair extensions may require additional care and may have a shorter lifespan than darker shades.

    7. Swimming & Sleeping

    I understand that my extensions should be secured appropriately when sleeping or participating in activities such as swimming. I will follow the recommended care instructions to minimise tangling and damage.

    8. Adjustments & Concerns

    I understand that I should contact my stylist promptly if I experience discomfort, slipping, tangling or other concerns following my installation. Any adjustments or additional services may be subject to charges, depending on the circumstances.

    9. Recommended Home Care

    I agree to use suitable haircare products and follow the washing, conditioning and maintenance instructions provided by my stylist.

    10. Brushing & Detangling

    I understand the importance of brushing my extensions regularly using a suitable extension brush, supporting the attachment points and brushing gently from the ends upwards.

    11. Natural Hair Shedding

    I understand that natural hair sheds daily and that some shed hair may remain trapped within the extension attachments until maintenance or removal. This is a normal part of wearing hair extensions.

    12. Natural Hair Health

    I understand that hair extensions do not treat or prevent hair loss. Incorrect application, excessive tension, unsuitable extensions or inadequate maintenance may contribute to hair damage or additional shedding.

    13. Sun Protection & Discolouration

    I understand that sunscreen, tanning products, minerals, chlorine and other environmental factors may cause discolouration, particularly in blonde or light-coloured extensions. I agree to take reasonable precautions and follow the recommended care instructions.

    14. Maintenance Appointments

    I understand that maintenance appointments are generally required every 6–8 weeks, or as otherwise recommended by my stylist. Delaying maintenance may increase the risk of tangling, matting, slipping or damage to my natural hair.
