1. Your commentary must be completed prior to the contest on the official commentary form and emailed by June 1st to Pat Myers at ohpmyers@gmail.com. The official commentary form can be found on the AAJS website or by contacting Pat Myers at ohpmyers@gmail.com
2. Contest officials reserve the right to edit contestant commentary.
3. The immediate family of the exhibitor must own the ewe that is being led. Sheep must be registered yearling ewe, senior ewe or ewe lamb conditioned, fitted and trained to show at halter. All sheep must be entered and shown in their respective breeding sheep class.
4. Judging will be based on: a: Outfit - 35 points (fit and style of entrants clothing) (Main garment(s) must be made of at least 60% wool fiber. Contestants must furnish their own garment(s) which may be handmade and/or purchased.) b: Poise & Appearance - 35 points (suitability of the outfit to the contestant, overall impression created by the contestant and the sheep.) c: Sheep - 30 points (control, conformation and presentation of the animal)
5. Judges will evaluate these three categories, assigning points accordingly. The highest number of points determines the winner. In the case of a tie, bonus points will be awarded for creativity and originality.
