If successful at interview you will be required to apply for an Enhanced AccessNI disclosure. Due to the nature of the work that you have applied for this will result in convictions which may normally be considered as spent being disclosed in addition to unspent criminal convictions, with the exception of filtered information. Please note, it is a criminal offence for any person who has been ‘barred’ from working with adults and children to apply for a post which involves carrying out regulated activity with adults and children. If an offer of employment is made, and accepted, we will require your consent to process your application for an Enhanced AccessNI disclosure and carry out a check of the Adult’s and Children’s Barred Lists. Having a criminal record will not necessarily debar someone from working with Orthoderm. This will depend on the nature of the position, together with the circumstances and background of the offences or other information contained on a disclosure certificate or provided directly to Orthoderm by the Police. Our policy on Recruitment of Ex-Offenders is available upon request. If you wish to obtain a copy, please contact our HR department.
