Since its founding in 2013, Saving Ourselves Symposium (SOS) has become a highly anticipated annual conference that educates and empowers the Black LGBTQIA+ community in the South. The annual Conference, SOS 2022, will continue that legacy with a theme that speaks to the urgency of our times and the necessity of action. The theme for this year’s convening will be: The Black Print: Strategies. Opportunities. Solutions. Sessions during SOS provide cutting-edge research, sharing promising health practices and strategies and celebrates the culture and creativity of the Black LGBTQIA+ community. This convening not only prioritizes those who provide services but also those who are a part of the Black LGBTQIA+ community. It is a unique and intentional space for the community to share with, learn from, and celebrate one another.
