I hereby agree to pay the annual (Sep. 1 – Aug. 31) dues, fees, and assessments established by the joint associations in consideration for the services the union provides. I understand that those annual amounts are subject to periodic change by the governing bodies of the associations. I authorize on a continuing basis, and regard less of my membership status, the payment of those annual amounts established by the joint associations through payroll deduction unless I revoke this authorization in a signed written request sent to CSEC-LC, Melinda Sanchez at msanchez3@lcps.net via email between August 1 and August 31 of the membership year immediately preceding the membership year for which the authorization is to be canceled.
Ten dollars ($10.00) of the amount collected from Active Education Support Professionals (although collected in the same manner as dues) is a voluntary contribution to EdPAC. This voluntary contribution may be refunded to members who request it according to procedures contained in the NEA-NM Bylaws. Forms for requesting the refund are available at www.neanm.org. The NEA-NM EdPAC collects voluntary contributions from Association members and uses those contributions for political purposes, including but not limited to, making contributions to and expenditures on behalf of friends of education who are candidates for elected office. Contributions to EdPAC are voluntary; making a contribution is neither a condition of employment nor membership in the Association, and members have the right to refuse to contribute without suffering any reprisal.
Only U.S citizens or permanent resident may contribute to NEA-NM EdPAC. If you are not eligible to contribute, please contact NEA-NM before completing this form and remitting your payment.
