    Purpose of form: Use this form if you wish to terminate membership with Baldwin REALTORS® and/or Baldwin MLS.
  • Unless you are a member of another association, your Real Estate License will need to be placed on inactive status or moved to a non-member office before deactivation from BR can occur. You can do this by going to the Alabama Real Estate Commission website or by calling their licensing department.

    If the member deactivating still has an active license in your member office, they must complete this form themselves.

    They must maintain membership at another association, and complete the MLS Waiver below.

    If they do not maintain membership at another association, their license will need to be placed on inactive status or moved to a non-member office, before deactivation from BR can occur. 

  • *.Please initial. I understand that if I choose to rejoin BR after being inactive for 90 days, I will be classified as a new member and will pay all application fees. If I join any association in the next calendar year, my dues will not be prorated and I will pay dues from January 1 of that calendar year.

  • If you answered "Yes" to the question above, and your license is active under a member office, we require you to complete the following MLS Waiver certification stating that you will not utilize BR MLS in any way, and that you are a member of another MLS.

  • Please read the following.

    All active real estate licensees, including those who are part of a real estate team or who represent buyers exclusively, licensed or certified appraisers and appraisal trainees affiliated with a member Participant must subscribe to the MLS. This includes administrative employees with an active Alabama License, regardless of firm Participant affiliation. Licensed administrative employees will be charged for use of the system if active in the system.

    Eligibility for Waiver:
    1.    No cost waiver for those members who can demonstrate subscription to a different MLS where the participant broker participates.

    2.    Waivers are good for one year and must be renewed by April 1st of each year.



  • *  Please initial. Waiver applicant will NOT directly or indirectly use BR systems, databases, lockboxes, etc. This does not include accessing listing information of the licensee’s own broker or of other brokers through the participant’s IDX site or elsewhere.



  • *  Please initial. Waiver applicant will NOT be identified as a listing agent on an active or pending property listing in the BR MLS.



  • *  Please initial. Waiver applicant will NOT use any data feed from BR MLS (except one that includes listings only of the licensee’s broker) or data on an IDX or VOW website identified as the fee-waived subscriber’s site or page.



  • *  Please initial. Waiver applicant will NOT use BR MLS data in an automated valuation product or tool in any product or service identified as coming from the fee-waiver subscriber.



  • *  Please initial. While on waiver from the Baldwin Realtors® MLS, any licensee found to be named as the listing agent on a purchase agreement for a property listed in the Baldwin County MLS will immediately be activated as a Subscriber, charged as a new subscriber including the Baldwin County AOR maintenance fee and all applicable fees back to the initial date of the waiver. In addition, the Member Participant (Broker) will be fined $1,000. When BR MLS revokes a waiver, the Member Participant may NOT apply for a new waiver for that licensee until one year from the date of revocation.

    By signing below, I certify that I do not use any services of the BR MLS under the above indicated firm. I understand that if I should utilize the BR MLS in any form, at any time, the Broker with whom I am affiliated is obliged to pay the required set-up and subscription fee on my behalf.
