We use a scheduling app for ease of use for staff signing up and scheduling.

Shift Type Selections Available:

YES: If you select "Yes", you will be able to get notifications and requests to work for these types of shifts.

NO: If you select "No" on any of the shifts, you will NOT receive any notifications about shifts that are available for that type.

Training Required: If you do not have specific experience but you are open to working these types of shifts so long as training is provided, please select "Training Required".

If in doubt, select "Yes" or "Training Required" so that you have the option later to pick up a shift or not. If hired, you will be able to adjust these selections.
Lead Server*
OLCC and MAST REQUIRED + FOOD HANDLERS for Oregon and Washington - This would include but not limited to: On-Site point person for TWST Staff, ensuring timeline is adhered to, task delegation, and releasing staff at the end according to the needs of the event. The Lead is also to participate as available with the help of any and all stations as needed (This includes bar if absolutely necessary). "After Event Lead Report" is required. Must adherer to all OLCC/MAST Standards.
Server - Floor*
FOOD HANDLERS REQUIRED for Oregon & Washington - This would include but not limited to set up/tear down of event including chairs and tables, serving food from buffets and plated service, Non-Alcoholic beverage replenishments, and other general party maintenance tasks.
Server - Buffet*
FOOD HANDLERS REQUIRED for Oregon & Washington - This would include but not limited to set up/tear down of the buffet, tending/replenishing the buffet, and may include general floor server tasks. These shifts are typically (though not always) limited to food service times only and are shorter times than most shifts (4 hour minimum required).
Server - Alcohol*
OLCC and MAST REQUIRED + FOOD HANDLERS for Oregon and Washington - This would include all standard Server Floor and Buffet tasks but may also include alcohol table side service or tray passing alcohol. Must adherer to all OLCC/MAST Standards.
Private Party Server*
OLCC and MAST REQUIRED + FOOD HANDLERS for Oregon and Washington - Typically in a private residence or smaller venue, this type of shift means that you may be by yourself or with one or two other staff and there would not be a Lead for direction. It would include all needs of an event including potential alcohol service. Must be highly self managing and go above and beyond for the client where possible. Must adherer to all OLCC/MAST Standards (even in a private residence).
Houseman*
FOOD HANDLERS REQUIRED for Oregon & Washington - For events over 200 people, this would include but not limited to most back of house type duties including dishwashing/schlepping and organizing of rentals. May be required to step onto the floor and help with floor service as needed.
Bartender - Beer & Wine*
OLCC and MAST REQUIRED + FOOD HANDLERS for Oregon and Washington - This would include pouring of light alcohol: Beer, Wine, Champagne, other light alcoholic beverages. Must adherer to all OLCC/MAST Standards.
Bartender - Bar Back*
OLCC and MAST REQUIRED + FOOD HANDLERS for Oregon and Washington - This would include aiding another bartender in pouring Beer, Wine, Champagne, other light alcoholic beverages, and may include helping out a full bartender doing cocktails if needed. Must adherer to all OLCC/MAST Standards.
Bartender - Signature Cocktail*
OLCC and MAST REQUIRED + FOOD HANDLERS for Oregon and Washington - This would include hard alcohol service. These events have one to multiple pre-arranged signature cocktails that may be learned prior to the event. Must adherer to all OLCC/MAST Standards.
Bartender - Full Bar*
OLCC and MAST REQUIRED + FOOD HANDLERS for Oregon and Washington - This would include any and all alcohol service including mixing cocktails, all other light alcoholic beverages. Prior bar experience required or select "Training Required" if you feel confident enough to work small private bars or learn how to. Must adherer to all OLCC/MAST Standards.
Cook/Kitchen Aid*
FOOD HANDLERS REQUIRED for Oregon & Washington - This would include but not limited to light cold food prep, reheating, minimal cooking, plate up individual plates or plating food for the buffets, as well as tending to back of house including dishes/rental organizing on occasion.
Corporate Shifts*
APPROPRIATE PERMITS REQUIRED PER STATE BASED ON SHIFT TYPE - On occasion, we are hired by another company to join their team for an event. By selecting "Yes", you would be able to pick up any of the shift types you selected above that would be listed as "Corp" shifts. There may or may not be any other TWST staff members, and you would be expected to work under that companies direction. Our billing rate for "Corp" events is slightly less so gratuity is slightly less than private events as well.

Pay
Pay Rate

Your pay rate will vary depending upon experience, longevity, and type of shift/position you pick up.
Example: Bartender shifts will be paid differently than server positions.
You will receive an email confirming your pay rates. At minimum including base plus gratuity, our staff expect to see ~$24 and it goes up from there. (Exception for first shift which is a working interview and will be paid $20 per hour flat rate.)

Gratuity

Generally between $4 to $10+ per hour or more in some cases depending on the shift type

Other Cash or Non-Cash Gratuity Policy

Report cash tips but they are yours to keep. Any non-cash gratuity are yours to keep/share with the other staff on that event. This includes food to take home, alcohol gifted to you at the end of the night by the client, cash, or other forms of gratuity.
