We are looking for art submissions that will express insight to the emotional journey of the artists who have often been subjected to social emotional bias. This exhibit will ask the public why women's voices, whether angry, loud, soft or bold are often not acceptable in our society.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

All submissions must include TITLE, SIZE, MEDIUM, and PRICE. Submissions without all four descriptors will be inelligable for display in this exhibition.

We cannot accept submissions smaller than 7 in x 7 in or larger than 36" w .

Submission of any works does not guarantee admission in this exhibition and there is no registration refunds.

Disclosure Statement for Artist Submission

Answering a Call to Artists with FemArt is not just promoting your work but also contributing to FemArt's mission to support and promote all women artists.

We ask for a registration fee for our shows that is tax deductible. It is reinvested to support our shows and grow our efforts to give women a visual voice in our culture. (If this is a factor that will keep you from joining our exhibit we ask that you request a financial waiver or special circumstances so that we can get your voice seen in our shows without a financial burden. E-mail us your request for consideration if life is presenting unusual challenges for you right now and we will offer support.)
FemArt Gallery, Inc. also takes a 30% commission from the sales of artwork that is in our shows. This is not a fee that can be waived and we ask that artists price their work with this consideration.
INSURANCE - FemArt Gallery, Inc. and all venues for art exhibits do not provide insurance for artwork that is exhibited. We highly recommend that every artist have their work insured for damage or loss during a Femart event. FemArt Gallery, Inc. is not responsible for any damage or loss of artwork in transit or exhibition timeframe. The Nest Coworking does not insure individual artwork and is not held responsible for any damage or loss of artwork.
FemArt requires all works intended for potential sale during a show be ready to hang (see our submission guidelines), and dropped off for storage with FemArt on a date to be determined once submission closes. Sale of works hanging in an exhibition will be handled by FemArt directly. Artist will be paid at the end of the exhibition.

Additional Donation for FemArt Therapy FemArt seeks to offer women Art Therapy by 2024. We are raising funds to pay for an "in-house" therapist to be available for women who have experienced personal trauma or need the emotional support to be better creatives. This fund is directly invested in future programs designed to better our community through the arts of visual voices of women artists.
